2025 POSITIONAL CAMP

The camp is open to Girls entering grades 9th - 12th who are looking to improve their position specific volleyball skills. Each athlete will be able to choose from the following positions and receive specialized training for that position. There will be individualized instruction, instant video feedback, competitive drills and play throughout the camp.

  • Setter
  • Pin Hitter (Outside/Rightside)
  • Middle Blocker
  • Libero / Defensive Specialist

Setters will learn and train setting techniques, tactics, and strategies.

Outside/Rightside/Middle Hitters will learn and train attacking, defense, blocking techniques, and discuss and implement decision making and attacking strategies.

Libero/Defensive Specialist will learn and train serve receive, defense, and ball control techniques with a focus on the skill of reading and reacting.

CAMP INCLUDES: All Meals in the student union.

  • 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM   Check-In
  • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Session I
  • 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Lunch  and Break (Provided for all Campers)
  • 1:30 PM – 5:00 PM   Session II
  • 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM Dinner (Provided for all Campers)
  • 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM    Session III

July 29 Tentative Schedule:

  • 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM  Check-in
  • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM Session IV
  • 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Lunch  and Break (Provided for all Campers)
  • 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM   Session V

LOCATION: Mitchell Hall Gymnasium – UW-La Crosse Campus

COACHES: Head Coach Deb Sazama, UWL Coaching Staff and student-athletes.
